The Girnal was originally a granary and was converted into a single dwelling house in the 1950s.


The House is comfortable, easily run and fully equipped (including bed linen) for ten guests. A modern oil-fired central heating system heats the house and supplies hot water. There is also an open fire and a wood-burning stove.

Kitchen with large Calor gas cooker, dishwasher and refrigerator, Utility room with drier and washing machine and 6-gun gun cabinet. Scullery with freezer, Dining room, Entrance Hall/Sitting room with WC off Sitting room with TV, Study, Bathroom.
First Floor
One double bedroom with en suite bathroom, four twin bedrooms, two bathrooms.

Four rods on the south bank of the Lower Brora River, extending to a distance of some 3 miles from Loch Brora to the sea, with 25 named pools. Fishing is by fly only. Access is good and there are two fishing huts. The average number of fish caught over the last five years is 182. There is also a boat available each day on Loch Brora.

Available for 4 weeks from the last week of September until 20 October, for 2 rifles per day, stalking for up to three days per week, each rifle accompanied by an Estate Stalker with cross-country vehicle. The number of stags that may be shot by both rifles is limited to a total of 5 per week.
